Sociology/Anthropology Department

Your support to the Sociology/Anthropology Department during the Cortland Challenge will allow us to provide student initiatives inside and outside of the classroom focused on creating first-class learning experiences for our majors. In the classroom, this includes supplies and equipment for our archaeology laboratory and museum interns to complete their projects as well as teaching materials for our forensic anthropology program. Outside off the classroom, this includes travel support for students participating in archaeological excavations in Alaska, Belize or Turkey, and those visiting museums to conduct research for honors projects.
