One of the wonderful opportunities provided to our Biological Sciences undergraduates is participation in scientific research under the direct mentorship of a full-time faculty member. Our students collect data using modern laboratory and field equipment, learn the processes required to analyze data and gain experience in scientific communication by presenting their findings at campus symposia as well as regional and national meetings. Your Cortland Challenge gift will support student research through the purchase of laboratory supplies and equipment and travel funding for students presenting their research outside Cortland.
