Mathematics

The SUNY Cortland Mathematics Department aims to enhance student learning and professional development by providing opportunities for students to experience mathematics outside of the classroom. This includes attending professional conferences such as the MAA Seaway Section meetings, the Hudson River Undergraduate Math Conference, or the annual Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State conference. We would like to continue to provide these experiences for our students and need your help. Your generosity during the Cortland Challenge will pay the conference fees for our students to attend and present at local conferences, as well as travel expenses for speakers coming to campus to address students in our department.
