Winner of award: Most Donors - First Place
Sophia’s Garden is an applied learning program of the Philosophy Department and housed in the Center for Ethics, Peace and Social Justice (CEPS). It connects college students as volunteers with area schools and engages children in “Philosophy for Kids.” Five area childcare centers, school sites and Cortland’s Youth Center host Sophia’s Garden each semester. Your generous Cortland Challenge support will enable Sophia’s Garden to grow as we look to hire a Graduate Assistant in the future.
We have had another amazing Cortland Challenge, and we want to say thank you to everyone who participated. ❤ Through your support, you are changing the lives of current and future Cortland students.
We’re still tallying the numbers, so stay tuned for the final results, including the winners of the Athletics Challenge and Department Challenges!
It’s another great day to be a Red Dragon! 🔴🐉
