Gifts to Literacy contribute to...
SUNY Cortland’s Literacy Department is a leading preparer of literacy professionals in K-12 schools in New York State. We have partnerships with local schools and child care centers in support of child literacy development as well as preparing new teachers to teach reading and writing. We also host an annual conference with leading literacy scholars as keynote speakers. Your Cortland Challenge gift would help support events with our school and child care partners, annual conference expenses, and travel funding to conferences so that our faculty and graduate students stay current with the latest literacy research.
We have had another amazing Cortland Challenge, and we want to say thank you to everyone who participated. ❤ Through your support, you are changing the lives of current and future Cortland students.
We’re still tallying the numbers, so stay tuned for the final results, including the winners of the Athletics Challenge and Department Challenges!
